Riverside Academy

The Queen of Hope Pageant was started by Katie Lehrmann-Boylan and Angie Lehrmann-Klibert 9 years ago as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  The American Cancer Society has been a big part of our lives and we wanted to find a way to do more.  We started this pageant not only to raise funds towards finding a cure for cancer but also to provide spokespeople for cancer awareness.  We are very proud to announce that since we brought together our Hope family we have raised over $65,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Our promise to you is that

Queen of Hope will ALWAYS be here

Searching For a Cure,

"Searching For A Cure...
One Rhinestone at a Time"

The Hope Family has experienced great loss. Two very special relayers were given their wings of the very same day. They are extremely missed and will always be loved by all. This was a very hard day for everyone. On this day we made a vow to make this year BIG! This year is dedicated in memory of Mr. BOB SMITH and Mrs. JEANNE GUIDRY. Mr. Bob was a father and a firefighter who lost his battle to cancer, while Jeanne was a full-time mother of three whose 8 year battle with breast cancer came to an end. They were two of the most amazing and inspiring people you could ever meet. Their courage and determination was an inspiration to all that knew them. We know they are watching over us and we HOPE we can make them proud.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all who supported this pageant.  Every contestant, every parent, every person who walked through that door... you all helped us to get one step closer to a cure. THANK YOU!

Congratulations to all of our
 Royalty.
You were all absolutely beautiful!!
We hope to see you back next year.
